Moving Central

I have so many pictures I would like to post on the blog from July BUT
our life is consumed with a lot of moving right now!

We close on the Entrada house in a week and leave the following day for a 10 day trip to Hawaii! That is what is getting me through. This past weekend we moved Grandma and Grandpa. Angie and I did most of the packing with the guys doing all of the moving. Grandma is in the hospital. She has been there since Saturday with pneumonia. Its emotional and stressful.

The packing of our house is slightly stressful but throw in a whole lot of other parts and things going on and its over whelming.

I am one of those people that believes "things happen for a reason" and in the past few months and weeks I have been thankful for a few things that have helped me manage the stress. I don't feel like myself right now and I am looking forward to getting back to me soon:)

1. In June I read two books; The Messenger and The Shack. Awesome reads that give you perspective, which is exactly what I need right now.

2. Meals on Wheels; I love this charity and every time Mason and I deliver, I walk away so fulfilled. I decided last Friday amongst the chaos to do a route in Golden. This route is mostly mobile homes and assisted living. The clients are so sweet and tickled to see Mason bring their sack lunch and milk. I beam as a mother when he hands them their food and says "here ya go, I'm Mason"  and than blows them a kiss with a wave as we walk away. Children are the light.

On this particular route their is a gentleman in his early 40's. He is blind and disabled. His dog is his alarm system to alert him that we are there. He always comes out smiling and though he can not see Mason, when he hears his little voice it lights up his face. Usually when I hand him his meal he shys away but this last time I touched his arm and he said "it has been so long since another human has touched me" and not in a perverted way but a truly human to human way. It rocked me to the core.

3. Nick and Angie; we have such awesome friends and family but I have to thank these two on here because they have been our helping force. They are our family and our friends and its such a blessing to know that no matter what happens in life you have people who will help you get through it.

God is cool like that putting people in our lives at the right times, always knowing what his children need.
