Homemade

Aren't homemade gifts the best, especially when they are food? Eggs fresh from the happiest chickens on earth, canned items;peaches, green beans, salsa and applesauce. And than there is the infused Vodka; Huckleberry and Crabapple...sounds bitter but trust me its lovely.
When I grow up I want to have my own farm where I can grow things. I will have my own chickens, pigs, and cows. I will name my Milk Cow Leche de Pepe and will milk her daily. Oh the things I will make when I grow up.

Snow days

It makes me laugh when I hear fellow Coloradans complain about the snow, its kind of part of the deal of living here.
We inherited a snow blower with the house, god bless it although I kind of like the "shoveling" workout!

We put them to work early in this house!

Snow makes me smile, and so does this CRAZY dog.
Fisher loves his snow and we have received a nice piling of it this February

our Hunter dog still can't figure out why these balls disintegrate when he catches them.  As Mason often states "Hunter is a genius:-)"
Matt and I had conflicting visions for our snow creature. Matt is so bossy sometimes, WHATEVER Matt I still think my idea was better and now you will have to watch the 3rd Twilight movie with me, so Ha!

Update: Matt did watch the third Twilight Movie this weekend with me and managed to not throw up during the movie but did almost throw up last night during the news piece about communal breast milk.
But your penguin-alope is kind of cute, especially with you two handsome dudes standing next to it!
And of course one of the best parts of snow, is coming in to warm up, with a nice cup of hot coco and some finger painting.

1950's Retro, Pretty in Pink!!!

Have I mentioned our pink bathroom? House guest either love it or hate. Some beg me to keep the tile and original fixtures while others (like my husband) can not wait to take a sledge hammer to it.

I am on the fence about it....I like Retro but I also like contemporary.

Regardless we don't have 10g's just hanging out waiting to be spent on a bathroom so HGTV is our only hope. Come on Bath Crashers, hit up our local Lowes this weekend, I'll be waiting.
