The summer of 2010 has been good to us, leaving us with lots of warm memories, good laughs and parenting lessons.
First lesson is when you are in the grocery store with Grandma (my mom) and she lets Keegan and Mason ride in one of those karts with the car on the front...don't agree to it. They will fight, bail out the side while moving down the aisle, and demand chicken nuggets in the shape of dinosaurs. I miss when Chicken nuggets were nuggets, lets not give them choices!
Next do not let them talk you into fancy balloons that sing in the Tweetie Bird voice or Buzz light year! Because once you get them in the car it is a driving hazard!

Though short, it was so AWESOME to see Emily, Keegan, and Cormic. Cade had to work so Emily braved a long flight with a 1-year old and a 4-year old...yikes! We stayed the night at Grandma and Grandpa's and played outside until their little legs could no longer carry them.
Summer also brought a really fun couples shower for our dear friends Kathryn and Chris.
They are gearing up to have a baby girl this November. We do not have enough words to describe how much we love these two and how excited we are to meet baby girl and for Mason to date her someday...
Summer also brought wagon rides, a summer must!

And older cousins who are in middle school and High school, can this be true? They were just babies.
Oh yea and naked wagon rides are fun too!
Ellie also introduced Mason into the world of dolls. He likes to touch their feet, actually he likes women's feet in general. I think this runs in the family with some of our guys...should I worry?
This is where the dolls go after he is done with their feet.
Summer means lots of playground time.
Lots of ball playing and jeep driving.
Mason was a little timid after Ellie peeled out with him and dropped gears a few times but he did eventually get back in with her. Chris and T you might want to lock her up in about 10 years.
Summer has meant spending time with friends with adorable baby girls name Grace, who is just a bundle of sweetness. This is my friend Sarah!
It has meant softball games with our favorite Coach Auntie Ang.
Mason was so excited to get on the field after the game, he just kept running up to Angela and kissing her. Pure love!
Summer even meant Mason would stop for a minute to have some cold juice but only for a minute!
What a blessed summer.
Our souls are warm and ready for the chill of fall, which Mason and I will be doing in Alaska. We leave tomorrow and will return in one week with lots of photos. We are going to miss our Matt but are excited for the adventure.
Keep us in your prayers for safe travels and that I make it with out my other set of hands, Matt.
